A team from Fernhill Heath Baptist Church accepted an invitation from Bishop Joel to visit Emmanuel Cathedral for 2 weeks in August 2011. The team consisted of John Crump - Leader. Jeff Porter - minister of the Church. Jane Holwill - deacon and musician. Ann Brazier - deacon and prayer support. Kath Poultney - IT specialist.
The programme consisted of the following: -
Preaching at and leading all 3 services on the 2 Sundays
Attending and preaching at 4 Zonal Meetings.

In the Sudan Zone with the Revival Fellowship
In the Zambia Zone with the Fathers Union
In the Kenya Zone with the Womens Fellowship
We visited the Sunday School and delivered training to help the teachers, and donated a number of resources to help with this work.
We provided a new Discipleship Training programme to help leaders of the Cathedral.
Computer skills and IT training was provided at the Teacher Training College for lecturers and students
Training of the Cathedral choir in new worship songs and music to assist leading worship
We ran a Headteachers day conference,
exploring qualities that Christian schools should have.
We also visited Arua Demonstration School
Finally, we had a day off!! and went to Murchison Falls
